"Tongxia (Larry) Li earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree, with majors in Economics and Finance, from The University of Sydney in 2013. He completed his Ph.D. in Finance at Deakin Business School, Deakin University (Australia), in 2020. He joined Hitotsubashi University as an assistant professor in 2023. His research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, and accounting. Larry has published many papers in international journals, including Journal of Banking and Finance, Accounting and Finance, International Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Economics and Politics, Financial Research Letters, Review of Managerial Science, and others. His recent research focuses on: 1) the effects of labor frictions on corporate decisions; and 2) the determinants of inventory management from accounting and finance perspectives."
